Welcome to Academic Helper.

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the platform.

By registering or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

Seeker

A user who posts academic tasks, projects, assignments, or educational work requests.

Writer

A user who submits bids and performs academic assistance services for Seekers.

Platform

Academic Helper, which provides marketplace and payment facilitation services.

2. Nature of Service

Academic Helper operates solely as a marketplace connecting Seekers and Writers.

The Platform does not create, complete, or guarantee any academic work submitted by Writers.

The Platform is not a party to agreements formed between Seekers and Writers.

3. User Eligibility

Users must:

• Be at least 18 years old;
• Provide accurate registration information;
• Maintain the security of their accounts;
• Comply with all applicable laws and educational institution policies.

4. Assignment Posting and Bidding

Seekers may post assignments and project requirements.

Writers may submit bids on posted assignments.

The Seeker has sole discretion in selecting a Writer.

Selection of a Writer does not create any employment relationship between the Platform and the Writer.

5. Milestones

Writers may divide assignments into milestones.

All milestone deadlines must occur before the final assignment deadline specified by the Seeker.

Milestone payments are activated by the Seeker through wallet funds.

6. Wallet System

Seeker Wallet

Seekers may deposit funds into their wallet.

Wallet balances may be used to activate milestones.

Writer Wallet

Writers receive funds only after all successful milestone completion and review.

7. Disputes

If a milestone is disputed:

• Funds will be held by the Platform.
• An investigation will be conducted.
• Both parties must cooperate with the investigation.

The Platform's dispute resolution decision shall be final unless prohibited by applicable law.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

• Submit fraudulent assignments;
• Impersonate another person;
• Manipulate bidding processes;
• Use the platform for illegal purposes;
• Attempt unauthorized access to platform systems;
• Abuse dispute procedures;
• Engage in harassment or misconduct.

9. Intellectual Property

Writers represent that submitted work does not knowingly infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

Upon successful payment release, ownership of the submitted work transfers to the Seeker unless otherwise agreed.

10. Account Suspension

The Platform may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Fraudulent activity;
• Repeated disputes caused by misconduct;
• Violation of these Terms;
• Abuse of platform services.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Platform provides services on an "as-is" basis.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We are not responsible for academic grades, outcomes, institutional disciplinary actions, or educational consequences arising from submitted work.

12. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Academic Helper, its employees, directors, and affiliates from claims arising from misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms.

13. Amendments

We may modify these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
